We all have that one person in our lives – the one who seems to have everything. They might be rich, so they can afford nearly everything, they’re old (like parents) and have everything they need or want, or maybe they’re the type that buys themselves something whenever they want it.

On birthdays, holidays, or just because, finding the perfect gift for someone who seemingly possesses it all can be rather challenging, to say the least. So, what exactly can you buy for the ungiftable? What can you get them that guarantees they’d even be happy with it? Well, here’s what you need to know!

Pictures

Honestly, pictures make the best gift; it’s all about creating sentimental value, and they do prove that it’s all in the little things. So, when it comes to pictures, it can be a photo collage or a simple framed picture, or you can go a bit beyond and compile a collection of cherished memories in a beautifully crafted photo book.

There are a lot of companies that make photobooks, or you can just do an album instead. This sort of personalised and sentimental gift allows them to revisit special moments, creating a tangible keepsake.

Unique Finds

Even for someone who has everything, they’re not going to have literally everything. Especially not something that’s very unique or just not common to find. When it comes to interesting gift ideas, this is one of the options you have because these are almost never mass-produced or even well-known in the slightest.

Usually, your best bet is something different (like hand-crafted)l since these aren’t mass-produced. So, it’s going to really help to just seek out one-of-a-kind, artisanal creations that can’t be found in mainstream stores (so check little market stands or even Etsy). Handcrafted items, limited edition artworks, or unique home decor pieces add a touch of exclusivity to their collection.

Charitable Contributions

Instead of buying them something, you could make a difference in the world by making a charitable donation in their name. So why not choose a cause that aligns with their values and provide them with the joy of knowing their gift has a positive impact on those in need?

Experiences Over Possessions

Is there someone in your life who’s a minimalist? Well, for someone who has an abundance of material possessions, consider gifting an experience. They don’t want clutter in their home, plus there’s always the chance you’ll waste your money.

So, whether it’s tickets to a live performance, a cooking class, or a weekend getaway, creating memories often trumps accumulating more things. For the most part, you can’t really go wrong with these, especially someone who’s older.

Something Personal

Earlier, it was mentioned maybe giving photos as a gift, but you could still go a step further than that if you wanted to.

So, you could always just elevate the ordinary by opting for customised gifts. Some ideas might include personalised jewelry, monogrammed items, or bespoke artwork, as these all add a thoughtful touch that showcases the effort you put into choosing something unique.
