There is a fun packed week over at The Cob House – Worcester Road, Wichenford, Worcester, WR6 6YE

Not only will be able to take part in one of the many activities they have planned for this week but you can also drop into the yummy Mayfly Cafe to grab a bite to eat.

We have met the Pampered Ponies team so many times and the children love getting pony rides.

And don’t forget the park is free entry, the animals like to see everyone and you can feed the reindeer, goats, chickens & alpacas!

BookTrust Storytime is an exciting library experience for families, offering a fun, free, and easy way to entertain under 5s at local libraries.

This is a brilliant national event, where you can listen to our staff read five fantastic books; and then vote for your favourite. The recommended age range is 2-5 years, though everyone is welcome.

Enjoy a welly walk around the reserve as you search for hidden hearts  and discover some of the things we love most about our lake and reedbeds. Take time to pause, look closely and reconnect with nature as you complete our mini challenge along the way.

The Commandry

Tuesday 17, Wednesday 18, Thursday 19 February 2026, 10.30am – 12noon.

Go out of this world in a fun galactic stay and play family morning in the February half-term holiday!

Children can design their very own astronaut mask, create moving rocket pictures, and paint the planets with balloons. Get hands-on with space-themed messy play trays too! 🚀

Family mornings end with a drink, a biscuit and a story.

Suitable for children pre-school age to 11 years old.

£5.50 per child + general admission. General admission applies to all visitors and can be purchased online or on the day of your visit.

Calling aspiring astronomers!

Look for the 3D planets around the building – can you find all the answers to the space quiz?

This trail will take you on an adventure through Worcester’s history as you explore The Commandery – with a sprinkling of stardust especially for the February half-term holiday.

The family trail is £1 per child. General admission also applies and can be paid for on arrival or booked online.

You can get free admission to The Commandery if you have a season or Worcester Residents’ pass (£1 for trail still applies) – find out more and plan your visit.

The Commandery is open from 10am – 4pm Tuesday to Saturday and 10am – 3pm on Sunday (last entry is one hour before closing).

Come face to face with the past at The Commandery’s biggest weekend of the year!

Explore living history encampments and watch marvellous military displays at Worcester’s historic Commandery.

The site will be alive with performances by musicians and dancers, and you can learn about traditional crafts too.

Encounter reenactors throughout the beautiful Grade-1 listed building and gardens, where they’ll be demonstrating and displaying historical weaponry.

A full schedule will be available before the event.

Living History 2026 is organised in partnership with The Worcester Re-enactors.

Come and get arty this February half-term holiday at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum!

Children will be able to make a roar-some clay creation – will it be a dino egg, footprint or a fossil?

To go with it, make a fantastic prehistoric companion to take home, a 3D cardboard dinosaur.

And design collagraph prints inspired by dinosaurs and fossils too!

Get Arty is on: Saturday 14 February, Wednesday 18 February, Friday 20 February at 10.30 – 11.30am.

£5.50 per child. A parent or carer must stay during the session. Free entry to the Art Gallery and Museum.

Have roar-some fun at the Art Gallery and Museum this February!

Pick up an activity bag and get creative in the Activity Space during the school holiday. Here’s what you’ll be able to get up to:

  • Make a pop-up dinosaur in its very own paper-plate egg
  • Create your own dinosaur matching game
  • Make your own mini palaeontologist notebook

The Art Gallery and Museum is fully equipped for young creatives to get going on their making. Each activity bag has multiple themed activities inside along with colouring and puzzle sheets.

£2.50, purchase your activity bags from the Art Gallery and Museum shop.

Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 4pm, and Sunday 10am – 3pm.

Redpoint Worcester Climbing Centre
