Ok this wasn’t quite the festival I had hoped for, but time and money has been challenging to get everything crammed in! But SummerFest was a nice little afternoon out for the kids.

This ones going to be pretty brief because we didn’t end up staying very long!

The tickets were pretty cheap (Just £16 for all 4 of us as under 13s are free) so we didn’t expect too much from it.

Food

As with any event like this, food is overpriced. We just got the kids the ‘Crunchy chicken fingers and chips’ for £5.90, and this is what we got!

They also had an ice cream van – I can’t remember exactly how much these ice creams were but I’m sure it was somewhere round the £8 mark!

Music

We were looking forward to the Taylor Swift and Arctic Monkey tributes. However we ended up leaving after the Taylor Swift tribute as she wasn’t very good and the kids were bored.

It was a shame as she really looked the part!

Other Entertainment

They had a couple of funfair rides available – these were £3 each per person. Holly had decided to wear wellies which weren’t ideal for the fun house.

One of the plus points was they had really clean toilets! And we got lucky with the weather, it was nice enough to sit out and enjoy the sun with a couple of drinks.
