Great food 2 U Meal Kits

Lock down has meant we have missed out on our normal traditions, including our annual trips to TGI Fridays to stand on a chair and have Happy Birthday sang to you (it never gets old 🤣) and when there are so many of you it means you are there at least once a month! My poor husbands lucked out with 2 lockdown birthdays 🙈 so when I saw a sponsored ad for a company called Great Food 2 U (well targeted there, I certainly am your target audience!) We just had to give it a try.

Jack Daniels Sesame Chicken Strips are literally our most favourite dish so we were dubious just how good they would be. So we ordered the racks of ribs and the chicken strips…

What I didn’t realise was the chicken strips was a main so came with fries and a massive portion of chicken strips 😋 so just incase you thought they would be a starter size, they aren’t!

It arrives in a chilled box (similar to other subscription meal boxes) with the ingredients bagged and a recipe card with cooking instructions

My presentation skills aren’t quite TGI standards but we were so impressed by the quality and how easy it was to put together. Not to mention how delicious it all was!

Great Food 2 U do a wide range of different restaurants, although the menu available is limited, there are plenty of choices. They even have Vegan options available

I highly recommend signing up to their mailing list as they send out offers, for example over Easter weekend they had free delivery on all orders (Saving you £6.95) All deliveries are made by DPD and you can have up to 3 Kits delivered to the same address for a single delivery charge.

We will definitely be using them again as we are out of the catchment for home delivery directly from TGI (our closest restaurants are Birmingham or Gloucester!)
