Hoburne Cotswold

We booked a last minute stay at Hoburne Cotswold Holiday Park to have a look round and see what we thought!

Our Accomodation

We booked a 3 Bedroom with hot tub – as it was out of season (January) it was only £312 which was an absolute bargain! Looking at prices in the open season they generally £500+

We got a beautiful 3 bedroom ABI Ambleside with wraparound decking and allocated parking.

Included in this grade is :

Private hot tub
Allocated parking
Decking with patio furniture
32″ TV with DVD player in lounge
TV in all bedrooms
Fully fitted kitchen with oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster & microwave
Iron & ironing board
Beds made upon arrival
Towels included
Central heating
Double glazing
Minimum of 13ft wide

Check in is from 3pm and check out is 10am.

The living area was spacious enough even with 6 of us in there. The kitchen included a dishwasher and washing machine along with a 4 seater dining table.

These holiday homes also came with wifi – much to the delight of Chloe and Lottie!

The main bedroom had a lovely dressing table area, double wardrobe and drawers. The ensuite toilet was also spacious with more storage.

The 2 twin rooms were pretty similar with wardrobes and drawers. The bathroom had a lovely big shower.

Food at Hoburne Cotswold

The menu was pretty varied, and fairly similar to the prices you’ll find at Haven.

The food was so much better quality though! We were really impressed with it.

In this area there was also a small soft play area which was perfect to let the kids run around while you enjoy a coffee or wait for food.

Arcade Area

The ‘arcade’ is pretty small with just a handful of machines – there are some penny pushers but Oscar just wanted to play on this. It is his favourite game, look at the concentration on his little face!

Swimming Pool

We only went swimming once and the water was ICE COLD! They said the pool heating was broken and we didn’t last very long.

Holly did like the slide though it’s better than the one we have at Burnham as it goes into a shallow bit at the end rather than the pool.

They also had a sauna, steam room and fitness suite (adults only) the shower area had a couple of showers, changing rooms and lockers.

Other Activities at Hoburne Cotswold

As the pool was so cold they offered the kids some free activities to do. Holly wanted to do the mini golf and Chloe, Lottie and Oscar chose to go on the pedal karts.

These activities are normally chargable for guests.

We mainly booked to have a look around with the view of moving our holiday home here. Gaz was really disapppointed with the facilities and the site was quite tired over all.

We will probably visit again for a weekend as we really liked the hot tub accomodation and we would like to see what the entertainment is like. (none of this was on when we visited)
