We were so excited to finally be allowed back to our holiday home!

We didn’t care that nothing was open. We didn’t care that we couldn’t go anywhere.

We were just happy that we could be somewhere other than in our house.

We have both worked through the whole of lockdown, my husband being a key healthcare worker and myself working from home surrounded by our tiny (but hugely hindering) army of children, so for us we just needed a break.

We know not everyone was happy the ‘tourists’ were back but we never left the site, we even brought our food shopping with us from home so we didn’t have to add pressure onto their supermarkets

Hopefully it’s the start of the return back to ‘normal’
