Whats in the May Glossy Box?
The box contains
Minetan Mini 50ml RRP £13.35 (RRP £28.60 for 177ml)
‘For radically replenished skin’ a bold claim! With Australian makers behind this product I would hope they know a thing or two about sun safety. Containing Aloe, which is in itself a natural anti-inflammatory, to soothe the skin and Niacinamide to help retain hydration and reduce the appearance of sun damage and fine lines, it does seem like the perfect combo to battle the burn. I can be a bit sensitive to Aloe products so I have tested it on the back of my hand and it hasn’t fallen off yet so, so far so good! It is quite a runny gel texture (its main ingredient is water)
After a bit of digging on their site I managed to find the information to confirm it is Vegan, Cruelty Free, Paraben, palm oil, mineral oil & sulphate free and sustainably sourced – This information isn’t on the packaging
Disappointed that these aren’t actually dragons blood and that is in fact contain an extract from the Croton Lechleri tree. I thought Rodial had gone all Game of Thrones on us! These de-puffing eye masks also contain arnica and hyaluronic acid to help with hydration and puffiness. Although they do not test on animals this product is not suitable for Vegans. I popped them on while I was writing this to see whether they really did have an instant effect. They are super thin and have a good coating of the product, they didn’t slide down my face like some others do!
I’m not too sure I can see a difference but my skin does feel nice
Kueshi Lemon Shower Gel RRP £5.70
Surprisingly I could actually smell this (stupid Covid still causing me problems!) I haven’t had a chance to use it yet as I am trying to use one thing at a time, otherwise I have hundreds of half empty bottles of stuff everywhere (I can’t be the only one?) But it smells lovely, it is Vegan and contains Lemon and Chamomile extract.
I discovered this brand a few years ago when I was a reviewer for another box company years ago and did love the products I was sent and this gel liner didn’t disappoint. It glides on beautifully and stands up to its no smudge promise. The pencil even has a tiny sharpener in the bottom end (Which I would never had found if I hadn’t read the box!) It is Vegan and Cruelty Free
This high coverage metallic gold eyeshadow gives a super intense finish with just one swipe. I was really impressed with the level of coverage it gave. Another Vegan and Cruelty free product also. Perfect for when we can properly go ‘out out’!
Really pleased with this Glossy Box box as it is actually 5 products I will use for a change
