Today we decided to take a walk into Worcester to get the kids out the house before our 3rd Gousto subscription dinner.
We wanted to walk down the river but it was pretty flooded so we couldn’t and had to walk to town along the main road
We grabbed a coffee at Cafe Viaduct by Little Al’s Kitchen riverside cafe (well Chloe had an ice lolly!) And explained to the girls why the flooding happens (environmentally and not the political reasons people like to bring up!)
We also had Gousto meal 3, which I have to say is the first meal from these boxes that I’ve actually not liked at all. It was the All in one beef stifado orzo stew and I really should have read the ingredients as it wasn’t obvious from the picture that it contained sooooo many tomatoes and tomato paste AND cinnamon (yuck!)
I did cook it anyway and I picked most of the larger tomatoes out of mine and dumped them in his but it was still so overpowering, I didn’t end up eating much of it at all.
Neither of us were keen on it so not one we will pick again! Luckily there are so many to choose from we aren’t usually stuck on lots of others to have instead.
