I am so far behind with unboxing that I have accumulated enough boxes to tell you exactly how much product you’ll get from a LookFantastic 6 Months Subscription

What is LookFantastic?

LookFantastic is a monthly beauty box subscription service and online beauty store. They offer various different subscription options which I go over in more details below.

Each box contains a mix of beauty items from premium beauty brands, make up, skincare, haircare and bodycare. Although most people do get the same box, sometimes there will be variations do you do complete a Beauty Profile asking you things such as skin type, skin tone, any skin problems (ie dark circles etc) hair type, hair colour and your average spend to help allocate your box items.

There are various different subscription levels available see below and you can usually find relevant promo codes especially if you sign up to the emails for exclusive special offer alerts, new product launches and notifications of the flash sales. You’ll also find handy makeup tutorials.

How much does LookFantastic Cost?

You have several different options with your LookFantastic subscription – they all come with free shipping (standard delivery) to the UK and the 12 months includes Premium Delivery – free next day delivery on all your orders for the duration of your subscription.

You can also download the lookfantastic app to manage your subscriptions and any lookfantastic coupons that are available on shop purchases. Don’t forget to go through TopCashBack to get cash back on your order too.

New customers can also take advantage of offers such as get your first box for £10 or get a free 2nd box with your first subscrition box offer.

Although they don’t offer complimentary worldwide shipping you can find all the shipping options here. There are also discounts available including key worker discounts and student discounts via student beans.

You can pay on a rolling month by month basis which costs £17.50 per month but has no ties and you can cancel at any time.

For the LookFantastic 3 Months subscription you can either choose the pay monthly option which is £15.75 (Saving you £5.25 on the no subscription option) or pay £42 upfront (Which is the equivilant of £14 a month and saving you £10.50)

Next we have the LookFantastic 6 Months subscription you can either choose the pay monthly option which is £15 (Saving you £2.50 on the no subscription option) or pay £80 upfront (Which is the equivilant of £13.33 a month and saving you £25)

And lastly for the LookFantastic 12 Months subscription you can either choose the pay monthly option which is £12 (Saving you £4.50 on the no subscription option) or pay £145 upfront (Which is the equivilant of £12.09 a month and saving you £65)

Whats in the LookFantastic boxes?

LookFantastic offers a range of skincare, haircare, beauty and other wellness products within their boxes. Each month you’ll receieve a mix of items, generally they are sample sizes, I don’t recall many full sized items with this box.

LookFantastic also don’t seem to give any RRPs so I will go and find the products online to guestimate the RRPs!

Let’s break it down into categories of items received over the 6 months to give you a better idea of the proucts you will receive in your boxes.

Make Up

I actually think LookFantastic is very light on Make up products and these 6 boxes really show this. Although there is a repeat box it does give you an idea of what you’ll get. If make up is more your thing Glossybox is probably a better subscription for you.

I do like the Lottie London brand though they are one of my favourite beauty products brands and have some really good products. They are actually really reasonable priced too for when you want top ups.

Body Care

Normally I find alot of body washes and body scrub squeezy tubes in these boxes but over these 6 months there is only 1 body wash which surprised me.

Hair Care

I liked that a Shampoo and conditioner was included as its often the case you only get one or the other. Again I have a duplicate of the styling cream in the March boxes but I will for sure use these up as I use alot of heat on my hair and it is coloured too.

Aromatherapy

The aromatherapy items aren’t commonly in the boxes but I do quite like them. Although Lavendar isn’t my favourite scent I am learning to accept it in small doses to be able to use some of the sleep related products,

Skin Care

And lastly we have the skin care! You can see that LookFantastic is a very skin care heavy box from these 6 months of boxes!

There is a wide range of skin care products from toners, to serums, oils to hyalauric acids. The only down side is they tend to be tiny samples so you can’t really get a feel for the actual products.

Summary of LookFantastic 6 months subscription

I think it’s pretty clear to see this is a skincare products heavy subscription box! With it having 3 times more Skincare than make up products. But it has helped me discover some of my now favourite luxury brands that I wouldn’t have tried if I didn’t have this subscription.

I think it’s quite a wide variety of products for the cost (If you have paid upfront that’s £80) and a great way to try new things to see if you like them before splashing out on the full size versions.
