Orlando is so much more than just theme parks! Although we didn’t visit loads of Orlando Restaurants I thought the easiest way to discuss them was to do a round up post of what we thought were the best orlando restaurants.

Dennys

The Dennys chain restaurant is the king of breakfasts. Although we visited 2 and they were exactly the same so although they are a chain there seemed to be some differences depending which one you visited.

We loved that they had several build you own options including the Grand Slam – perfect for fussy people like me! For normal people there are loads of other options available.

We would have had breakfast here every morning if we could have.

Longhorns

Longhorns has to be one of the best places we have ever visited and were really accomodating for large groups. We love steak and its hard to find good steak restaurants when we go away.

We love that they serve this whole little loaf of bread to the table while you are ordering!

The kids meals are really big portions and the drinks are unlimited refills, they will even refill it just before you leave! They were also only $5.50-6.99 +tax including the drink which is pretty cheap too.

Our steaks were just amazing. Although not quite up to the standard of Ounce back home they come pretty close 2nd.

Our bill here was just under $100 (around £86) which is pretty good for 3 adults and 4 children.

Black Angus Steak house

We thought we would try another steak house to have something to compare Longhorns too and we were not as impressed by Black Angus.

The starters and the kids meals were ok, again so much food!

But our steaks were just ok. The chips were a bit odd, Longhorns just seems so much better.

The signature cocktails however at Black Angus are amazing. You can even keep the glasses. Kieren had this orange on that they set on fire, aptly named the barn fire.

The cost of this one had us nearly fall of our chairs, it was virtually DOUBLE what we paid at Longhorns. Although I did have a cocktail even if you take that off it’s alot more expensive.

Hooters

Gaz and I managed to sneak off to Hooters on our own while my sister and her fiance watched all the kids (thanks guys!)

The cocktails were really nice and they had these crazy big beer glasses (I think they might have been 2 pints?)

There were TVs everywhere showing all sorts of sports , we were surprised (considering the themeing) how many families with small children were in here.

The food was ok, nothing special but it’s more of a bar really so we didn’t expect much and went more for the experience as it’s not really something we have in the UK.

Hooters do run Happy Hour promotions throughout the week with various offers including Discounted drinks and ½ price on appetizers. They also love to help you celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday and will sing to you!

TGI Fridays

I LOVE TGI Fridays, I’m so sad we don’t have one in Worcester, although probably for the best there is ennough temptation as it is!

We visited the TGI Fridays on international drive and it was just like home. Apart from they still have broccoli and we don’t (broccoli dipped in Jack Daniels sauce is sooooo good)

But as we do have these at home, It’s not going to make it into my top 2 favourites!

Epcot – Coral Reef Restaurant

You should definitely visit orlando’s magical dining at the parks. Coral Reef unsurprisingly specialises in fresh seafood, which is just the worst place for me to eat because I don’t eat any seafood at all – But they do have other menu choices too.

You get these really cool views inside the tanks and can see the fish and sharks swimming around, the kids were fascinated.

Of course the girls wanted cheesy pasta and sweetcorn and followed it with these clam shaped ice cream cakes. They were like rainbow rice krispies covered in syrup with ice cream in the middle

I opted for pork and it was the most delicious meal I’ve had at a walt disney world® resort. This would definitely make it into one of the top restaurants I’d like to revisit. I don’t have a photo of the receipt but it was well over $100 .

You can view the menu and pricing before you visit on the app.

Summary of our Orlando Restaurants visits

The best restaurants are Dennys for breakfast. Longhorns for dinner. That’s all you need to know really!

Hooters was ok to say we have been there but probably wouldn’t visit again and I would go to Black Angus just for cocktails perhaps next time.

If you want to try some more adventurous places you should visit downtown orlando where you;ll find kres chophouse (Steak house) or head over to Winter Park where you’ll find the links of The ravenous pig where you’ll find delicious meals such as pork belly on the menu.

If you want to find the best sushi head over to Shin Japanese Cuisine or Sushi Katana. We also visited The Rainforest Cafe in disney springs back in 2019 and it was an amazing experience
