I was so excited to grab some last minute tickets to see Frozen the musical live in Londons Drury Lane theatre! Having only been to the theatre once before myself so I couldn’t wait to go again.
I didn’t tell Holly where we were going or what we would be doing, it was so hard keeping it secret from her!

We headed off to the train station, I decided on the train instead of driving because I knew Holly would enjoy that more. Parking in London is also not my favourite.

Holly also wanted to do some vlogging herself so I let her loose with the camera.
London Underground
When we arrived in London we hopped over to the London Underground. I love the underground, when I moved up to the Midlands I couldn’t believe they didn’t have one, it’s so convenient to get around London.
It is however VERY dirty and Holly looked like she had been rolling around on the tracks by the end of the day.
Exhibition of props
Frozen the musical was at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Inside before you go upstairs to the theatre they had a beautiful display of the costumers from Frozen.
Holly was really excited to see all the costumes and tell me who they all belong too.
Great Seats!
I didn’t really know where would be the best place to seat when I was buying the tickets but these seats were great.
We didn’t end up having anyone in front of us so we had a really clear view of the stage.
Snacks….
Of course I was talked into buying snacks, a pick’n’mix bag and an ice cream in the interval. The pick’n’mix cost about £6 and the ice cream was £5. Holly also wanted a programme which I think was around £10.
The show is incredible. I cried (standard) and Holly loved every second of it. Elsa’s transformation scene is just magical but don’t blink or you will miss it!
South Bank
We walked from the theatre over to the South Bank which was buzzing!
Holly found this group of skateboarders fascinating and I had to drag her away. There are food vendors dotted all along the river front so you won’t go hungry.
London Eye
As we are Merlin passholders we thought it would be rude not to have ago on the London Eye. We have been on it a few times but it never gets boring.
As it was a beautiful clear day we had amazing views across London and holly loved every second of it, you get around 30 minutes on board.
If you aren’t a Merlin passholder I highly recommend Attraction Tickets Direct for London Eye tickets.

Paddington Station
On the way home we had some time to kill before our train so we did some exploring around Paddington Station. Holly loved the Paddington statue and bench and wanted her photo done.
She was also fascinated by all the bikes parked in the station, she said she’s never seen so many bicycles!
And just a final end to our day was seeing this beautiful rainbow on the way home.
