Good Pair Days – Wine Subscription Box 2 Sept 2022
It's time for my Good Pair Days 2nd box! Again all Rose because this is my personal preference. They do …
Good Pair Days – The Wine Subscription Service
Sponsored ads are honestly going to be the death of me but the marketing team got it spot on with …

Who are Good Pair Days?

Good Pair Days are a monthly wine club offering you a chance to try out new wines suited to your wine preferences. You can choose between white wine, red wine and Rosé.

They have a really handy Good Pair Days app where you can set your requirements, likes and dislikes easily and access all your subscription information. When you rate the bottles you are sent these also help them working out what future bottles you will receive

How does Good Pair Days work?

Each month you will be sent a preview of your box – you can then make any changes before they ship it to you. You can choose to have a selection of each or as you will see you can choose to have a box filled with one choice (Yay for Rosé!)

Your box will be delivered monthly on a date of your choice but you can pause at any time, you aren’t tied into a minimum term.Your box will consist of 3 to 5 bottles of different types of wine – You choose the number of bottles you want to receieve but you do get free shipping with 4 or more bottles.

Grow your wine knowledge

My favourite thing about Good Pairs Days is the wine knowledge they share with you within the blog posts and also on the Wine 101 E-Course.

Rewards

Recently Good Pair Days changed the rewards scheme so you can choose your rewards rather than just having whatever was the freebie on the next level.

You are instead awarded points for things like rating wines, referring friends and taking part in challenges such as sharing posts on social media.

Refer a Friend Scheme

You can earn freebies by referring friends to Good Pair Days (You can find my link here thank you in advance!) You get a free bottle worth £25 for your first referral and an up to £20 bottle for each subsequent friend.

Your friend will also bag themselves the Cheeseboard Cooler. I’ve had 11 free bottles so far!

My Good Pair Days Box

So back to my box – Here are the wine’s I was sent

Brookdale Estate ‘Mason Road Serendipity’ Rosé 2020 – £17.50

This bottle was one of my free bottles from the refer a friend scheme.

This wine’s tasting notes are leaning towards full bodieddry, with low aciditysome fruitinessmedium tanninsmedium alcohol and some oak.

I really liked this wine! It was lovely and I will definitely order again!

My Rating – 5/5

Podere Selva Capuzza ‘Chiaretto’ Rosé 2021 – £17

This bottle was one of my free bottles from the refer a friend scheme.

This wine’s tasting notes are leaning towards medium bodieddry, with medium aciditysome fruitinesslow tanninsmedium alcohol and no oak.

I wasn’t overly keen on this without lemonade it was pretty sharp. Even when I added lemonade it still wasn’t something I would choose to drink.

My Rating – 3/5

Rutiero Rosé 2021 – £10

This wine’s tasting notes are leaning towards light bodieddry, with medium aciditysome fruitinesslow tanninslow alcohol and no oak.

This bottle was delicious and one of the cheapest! This box is certainly teaching me that the price tag isn’t everything.

My Rating – 5/5

Adria Vini ‘Ancora’ Rosé 2022 – £10

This wine’s tasting notes are leaning towards light bodieddry, with medium aciditysome fruitinesslow tanninsmedium alcohol and no oak.

This wouldn’t be one of my go to wines. It was ok but even with lemonade I found it a bit too sharp.

My Rating – 3/5

Green Roots Rosé 2021 – £10

This is a classically French pink wine made from Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault. Up top, we have pleasant, sweet notes of red cherry and strawberry interlaced with attractive notes of strawberry laces and candy floss. This is as clean as a whistle, with good, bright energy as well as a welcome creamy accent on the finish. Source : Good Pair Days

This wine’s tasting notes are leaning towards light bodieddry, with medium aciditysome fruitinesslow tanninsmedium alcohol and no oak.

I really liked this one, I probably could have drunk it without lemonade but it was still better with!

My Rating – 4/5

Dominio de Punctum ’99 Rosas’ Rosé 2021 – £10

Punctum’s ’99 Rosas’ is an apt name for this rosé which displays elegant and floral notes of rose petals, red apples and sweet red berry fruit. The mouthfeel is round and plump with lots of energy and a bright, vibrant finish. Source : Good Pair Days

This wine’s tasting notes are leaning towards
medium bodieddry, with medium acidityvery fruitylow tanninsmedium alcohol and no oak.

This was is really nice, I definitely could drink this one without adding anything.

My Rating – 4/5

I also received all the following freebies with this order from the old style rewards programme:

Tea Towel – Cheese & Wine x1
How To Taste Wine Tea Towel x1
Cheese Board Cooler x1
Card 5/6 – Storing & Serving Tips x1

My main freebie is the Good Pair Days Cheeseboard Wine Cooler (Which you get free with your first box as a new customer but I got it as a refer a friend bonus)

It’s huge and has a solid lid that flips over to be a serving board and drink holder, it’s quite lightweight too which is great!

I also got 2 free tea towels which are huge! Excuse my face in the pictures I screen shot from the unboxing video.

Can’t wait for my next box – I already have some free bottles and other freebies coming!

You can try Good Pair Days here.
