Gaz told me how much fun it was to ride a Jet Ski when he went in Lanzarote. I let him go with Miles while I stayed with the others.

So when the option came up in Rhodes to be able to do it and take Chloe and Lottie we decided we would all have a go!

Gennadi Water Sports

The beach attached to the Tui Blue Sensatori Atlantica Dreams has watersports provided by Gennadi Water sports.

They have a wide choice of different activities available and wet booked on to have a go on the jet skis. Originally we were supposed to all go on together (2 on each) but they only had one available so we had to take turns.

Life jackets are provided and they do give you a full demo of how to use the Jet Ski’s before you head off.

Lottie and I

We hated it. Every second of it. The spray, the cold, the noise, we lasted about 10 minutes before we had, had enough and headed back.

The sea was so choppy it was just making me feel really uncomfortable, I think maybe if it hadn’t been my first time it might have been better? Or if we had had someone with us but I felt so unsafe (the sea scares me at the best of times!) So we headed back early.

Gaz and Chloe

As we jumped off early Gaz and Chloe got to have some extra time on their go. Gaz was absolutely flying compared to me, it was suggested maybe I should have gone faster but I was far too scared!

Chloe absolutely LOVED it and wanted to go on again. I definitely think we will leave it to them next time! They are 100% water babes.

It won’t be long before Chloe can go on one herself (16 was the minimum age here)

We paid €80 for both of us to have 15 minutes each. Which for me was far too long but Gaz said they would have happily done the half hour. They are open to negotiating so definitely give it a go.

You can pre book on the beach or just visit on the day and they can let you know what they have available. I would personally recommend pre booking to avoid disappointment as they don’t have everything available on the day every day.

Another challenge ticked off and never to be repeated, I will stick to rollercoasters!
