You all know by now I love subscription services, anything that takes the thinking out of buying for me is a winner! So when I spotted this Monthly Children’s book subscription service from Books & Pieces I had to give it a go.
Books are something I love to buy the kids but I just never know what to get them! So having a monthly delivery of age appropriate books really works for me.
So how does it work?
Each month you will receive 3 books suitable for your selected age range – choose from under-2s, 2-3yrs, 4-5yrs or a family subscription with a mix of books. I went with the family one so I would receive books suitable for both Holly and Oscar
You can choose whether you pay monthly which will set you back £14.99 a month or pay for 3, 6 or 12 months up front and pay as little as £12.08 a month. Postage is free whichever option you choose
Our first one arrived this week and it was beautifully packaged in pink tissue paper. We also got a free tote bag, which Holly has already claimed as hers!

Oscar loves this one, with little moveable pieces that were easy for him to do (and not so easy for him to break!) they are perfect for little fingers. It’s a hard back board style book with just 4 pages, each with their own moveable parts that correspond to the story.

10 Little Pirates
This one is the perfect in between book, both Holly and Oscar liked listening to this one. It’s a paperback with big colourful pages. The story rhymes and Holly loved counting backwards through the story. It’s not too long and kept Oscars interest to the end.

This one is more for Holly, again its a paperback with big bright colourful illustrations but it’s a bit of a longer story. Holly liked having it read to her and trying to guess from the pictures what was coming next!

I have chosen to get this for at least 6 months and I can’t wait to see what we get over the next few months. This month was a good mix for Holly and Oscar and they can’t wait for their next delivery
