Christmas gift guide for younger boys

I hate buying presents on demand especially ay Christmas when we bombarded with just sooooo many adverts on the TV! We don’t really do ‘lists’ because it would just be full of electronic devices and I spend my life trying to get them off them! So I have put together a Christmas gift guide for younger boys – I have based it around things I would buy (or have bought!) Oscar who is 3 in January.

Geomag Magicube Blocks

Multiple sets available from £7 on Amazon

Oscars little face says it all about these magic magetic blocks! The sets contain a range of basic shapes and a few add ons such as the little wheels to make vehicles.

We are several weeks into owning these and he keeps coming back to ask for them so they are a winner for us.

Gazillion Bubble Wands

Multiple wand designs available from £7.50 on Amazon

I can see why they call these Gazillion bubble wands! They are battery operated so you don’t need to wear yourself out blowing the bubbles.

This a great little gift and on the lower price side too, Oscar loved that he could just run around with it creating bubbles.

Animal Fact Cards & Colouring Books

Products start from £5 available direct from Button and Squirt

We love going on Bug Hunts when we are at Haven but during the months the site is closed we find other ways to do them. These bright colourful cards feature pictures of all the bugs you can find facts about that creature too.

They do loads of different types of cards -including Animals and dinosaur cards.

Heroes of the city set

Sets available from £7.95 from Amazon

These chunky easy to handle characters are great for small hands, Oscar especially loved the skateboarding monkey.

I had no idea this was a TV show until I was googling it but it ran from 2012 – 2019.

The Fuzzies

Available on Amazon

Learning Resources Playfoam

Multiple sets available on Amazon

I hate stuff like this usually, especially slime because it is so messy but thie playfoam is completely dry. It’s not sticky or slimey its similar to slightly mushy polystyrene balls but it says it never dries out. (ours has been open for about 3 weeks now and is still the same as when we opened it)

It is so much better for the kids because I didn’t need to make sure they keet it off their clothes or the surfaces. They do some really great play sets and educational games to go with the smaller individual packs.

Kids Play Tunnel

Holly and Oscar were super excited when I showed them what had arrived! They couldn’t wait to get their hands on it.

These play tunnels are super strong and made from medium weight flame retardant PVC. Waterproof which makes them suitable for indoor and outdoor play.

They also fold down really flat for easy storage (and for us easier to take with us to the caravan!) It is also super study and the kids were jumping all over it without any problems.

You can buy them from NaylorActivityTunnels.co.uk and use code CJAT15 for 15% off

Hopefully this Christmas gift guide for younger boys and reviews have given you some screen free gift ideas for upcoming birthdays and Christmas!
