Pacer weeks are my favourite at parkrun! Whether you are looking for a pb or just want to learn to run consistently it’s a great time to visit a parkrun event!

What is a pacer?

If you are new to running you may not have thought too much about how you’ll improve beyond just running more frequently. A pacer will run (hopefully) at a consistent speed for the entire parkrun to enable you to finish at their ‘pace’ time.

You can tell what time they are running too as they should be wearing a bright blue vest with a number on the back. This number is the finish time in minutes.

Pacer Events Spreadsheet

I have created a spreadsheet – drop me a message through the contact section of comment on this post with any that need adding. I had to make it read only due to someone deleting the original.

Do check out the individual events facebook page prior to travelling for the latest updates!
