I love being by the sea, I don’t really need an excuse to want to go and be near it, but having friends that live in seaside locations always helps! I needed to be in Bognor Regis for a couple of days and I opted to stay at The Coast House B&B Felpham for 2 nights.
It was really easy to find and I could park right outside, I was greeted by Donna who gave me a quick tour round before showing me to our room.
Location
You’ll find The Coast House B&B a few minutes drive from the main sea front stretch. It is down a quiet road and has off road parking directly outside the main entrance.
Full address : The Coast House B&B 16 Vicarage Lane, Felpham, Bognor Regis, West Sussex, PO22 7DZ
Facilities
The Coast House B&B is just bursting with extra little touches. In the dining room / lounge area you will find blankets for the sofas (or to take outside) if you need them. A whole range of glasses, plates & cutlery should you want to order in some food and even a fridge if you want to store your own drinks.
Outside you’ll find plenty of furniture to sit and enjoy the garden and you can grab a blanket from a basket if you get a bit cold.
Swimming pool & Hot tub
The Coast House B&B is also home to the coolest pool I have ever been in. It looks more like a giant hot tub (and does have the functions of a hot tub) but you can switch on a current which allows you to just swim against it for as long as you like, but you don’t actually move. Blew my mind a little but it was great fun.
If you prefer an actual hot tub there is also one of these out on the terrace, but it was much warmer inside.
You can also book a wide range of treatments for your stay including massages, reiki and yoga.
Our Bedrooms
You will find all the bedrooms up on the first floor. We stayed in the Family suite after being upgraded from my originally booked double room, which was a lovely surprise.
We had a double bed in the main room and 3 singles in the connected side room. Plenty of space and perfect for a family. The beds were super comfy and I almost smuggled the pillows out to have at home.
In the room you will also find a large TV, plenty of storage with 2 double wardrobes (with lots of hangers!) and several sets of chests of drawers in both rooms. Tea / Coffee making facilities are also in both rooms with extra teabags etc available on request.
The black out curtains were very much needed as the sun streams through the windows.
Our private bathroom had a full size bath, shower and Jack and Jill sinks. Toiletries, towels and dressing gowns are provided.
Other rooms at The Coast House
There are also another 3 double bedrooms at the property, all beautifully decorated.
All are available individually or you can hire the whole house out exclusively.
Breakfast
Donna was ready and waiting for us when we eventually made it down for breakfast.
We opted for a table in the conservatory overlooking the garden (Look out for the resident squirrels!)
Cooked and continental options are available, we decided on a bit of both. With pots of tea, freshly brewed coffee or fruit juices to go with it.
With both of us being fussy eaters our breakfasts are never very photo worthy but they were delicious!
